Pioneer Sweaters Limited (PSL) is a member of Badsha Group of Companies. The group is in the textile business for over two and half decades. It started its operation as a yarn trader in the early eighties. Running with the time it diversifies its operation from yarn trading to cotton importing.

PSL has started its operation in 2001 with strength of 388 knitting Machines. At the beginning of 2004, it extended its machinery capacity to 1,300 and established its second manufacturing unit in Valuka, Mymensingh. The current machinery strength of Pioneer is 1677. Recently the group has established a state of the art cotton spinning mill “Badsha Textile Mills” with 50,000 spindles.

 The mill has gone in commercial production in October 2005. The daily capacity of this mill is 30 metric tons. Pioneer is contemplating to set-up a new unit for 12GG by end 2006 with an initial capacity of 500 sets machines. The annual turn over of the group is around US$175 million.
